As a headcanon note; I am playing Meiling with a few assumptions to clarify some things canon leaves vague. The first is that she is a dragon youkai. The second is that she is the longest tenured of Remilia's servants, and met Sakuya when she first entered the mansion (what age Sakuya was at the time I'll leave up to individual Sakuya players). Third, Meiling is, in fact, as strong as she implies to Sakuya in Hisoutensoku and wasn't lying about holding back in all of her fights. Lastly, I play Meiling under the assumption she has a really pleasant bond with Flandre, and plays with her often.
